Intelligence is a vital part of the Anti-Doping Programme and the Irish Sports Council works with a number of agencies, including the Irish Medicines Board, to gather information relevant to the Anti-Doping Programme. Information may also be gathered by monitoring competitive results of athletes, analytical reports from the laboratory and also steroid profiling of samples taken from athletes.
Information may also be received from tip offs from the sporting community and the public. If you are aware of any suspicious anti-doping activity please contact the Anti-Doping Unit on +353 1 8608828. All information received by the Irish Sports Council will be dealt with in a confidential manner.
