Criteria for Eligibility

Overview
The scheme is designed to support athletes that achieve International, World Class or Podium criteria, and provide financial assistance to augment or sustain their competitive achievements, depending on the level they are at. Criteria

In order to qualify for support, athletes must achieve performance based criteria, which is published yearly on our website under the Application & Downloads section.

Terms and Conditions

All successful participants in the scheme will be bound by the terms and conditions of the scheme which are outlined in the Guidelines.

Appeals

Players/athletes may, via their NGB, appeal the outcome of their carding application to the Irish Sports Council. Such appeals will be adjudicated by a Review Group. The process is outlined in the Scheme Guidelines.
